Itinerary
Day 1: Spend the morning in the SoHo neighbourhood. This is one of my favourite neighbourhood and a great place to base yourself. We stayed at The Nomo Soho which was great. Don’t forget to have breakfast at Sadelles - it’s pricey but the bagels are delicious and it’s a fun, bouji way to start the holiday. Spend your afternoon at One Vanderbilt. It has the most insane views of the city and the giant silver balloon room is chaotic but so much fun. Make sure to try some oysters in the evening, Ed’s Lobster Bar has great oysters and Chelsea Market is also great. Also make sure to try the sushi and lobster rolls at Chelsea Market!
Day 2: Start off by grabbing a coffee at one of New York’s trendy coffee shops. Explore Little Italy and China Town by foot. There’s loads of nice restaurants, cafes and shops, and it’s very charming! After head to Brooklyn to the Smorgasborg Market. There’s sooo many amazing food stands… the bao buns and wings are awesome, but the real star of the show is the Philly cheese steak. I’m still dreaming about it now! Walk over to Brooklyn Bridge. The Time Out Market is a great pit-stop for a drink and snack (if you’re still hungry) Enjoy the evening visiting some of New York’s famous Irish Pubs and cocktail bars, the East Village area is a great place to do this. Afterwards get dinner at one of the many Italian restaurants… we had the tasting menu at Forsythia which was absolutely delish. Highly recommend the pastas and the Cacio E Pepe Arancini balls. No trip to New York is complete without visiting Times Square so stop by before grabbing a slice of Joe’s Pizza on the way home.
Day 3: Start your day with a walk around Central Park. I wanted to try a hotdog so I picked one up for breakfast while exploring the Upper West Side. Get an early lunch at Via Carota (you’ll get a seat if you go early!) the Cacio E Pepe is insane. Then take the subway to the Bronx to watch a Yankees game! It’s so worth it and a great all-American day out with cold beer, and good vibes!
