Itinerary

Day 1: Check into your hotel in South Beach. If it’s your first time in Miami South Beach is a great place to stay with the proximity to the beach and nightlife. We stayed at The Goodtime Hotel which was super beautiful and great value for money. After checking in head to Ocean Drive. You can have a drink at one of the many bars (but watch out for scam happy hour deals!) watch or play some beach volleyball or simply go for a stroll and watch the fancy cars drive by. If you’re feeling hungry Lucali’s is nearby and the pizza is insane! While you’re in Miami you need to experience one of the famous pool party’s - we went to one at our hotel which was super fun. In the evening check out Little Havana. There’s so many great bars where you can get delicious mojitos and enjoy live Cuban music. Have dinner at Zitz Sum. It’s a cosy and intimate restaurant tucked away in a cute Miami neighbourhood and serves a fusion between Chinese and Italian food. I recommend the tasting menu 👌🏼Finish the night back in Little Havana at Ball and Chain . You can practice your salsa or simply watch the amazing salsa dancers!

Day 2: Hire a convertible for the day. Start of the day with some sports fishing. Miami and surrounding areas are famous for sports fishing. We caught a 7ft bull shark which took forever to reel in but was so worth it. you’ll probably be hungry after the fishing so have lunch at Tiki Tiki . It has some of the best seafood that Fort Lauderdale has to offer and the view looking out onto the estuary is beautiful. You might want to try some other sports while in Miami - the shooting range is something different for the adrenaline junkies! Spend your afternoon in the Everglades and go on one of the famous air boat tours - make sure to bring a raincoat as Miami is infamous for their storms and you never know when it might pour! Finish off your day in downtown Miami at Cajun Boil . I’ll be dreaming about the food for years to come! Also you’ll want to order the prawn Mac and cheese. Thank me later.
